UK Short Breaks

By popular demand we will be returning to Selworthy from 15 October 2010 for a three night break at HF's Holnicote House.  Bookings have been made with an excellent number of members joining us.

Malvern Hills - a short break is in the planning stage for a visit to the Malvern area in early July 2011.  Our base is likely to be in Great Malvern, so watch this space for further information as it becomes available!

Recent trips include Dartmoor, Isle of Wight, Brecon Beacons, Sussex, Kent, Tintern, Dovedale, the Pembrokeshire coastline and Dartmouth.

In early July 2009 we enjoyed a few glorious days in Dartmouth exploring the area both on foot and by boat.  The rain held off until the very last afternoon and so we were able to enjoy some good walks and we were also fortunate to visit Greenways of Agatha Christie fame along with Coleton Fishacre (left) once the home of the D'Oyly Carte family.

Other themed visits

Amongst other things we have visited art galleries in Paris, the Ludlow Festival, gardens at Sissinghurst.

In July 2007 the group visited Chichester where, some great walks were enjoyed along with the more cutural aspects.
