Overseas Holidays

In March 2007 the group visited Rome for a short break and in recent years we have visited Croatia, Corfu, Italy, Spain, France and most recently Austria.

A week spent in Seefeld, Austria in June this year was greatly enjoyed, the wild flowers were at their best and we came across some beautiful flower meadows on our walks.  The walking was good but not too strenuous and we also managed to fit in a bit of sightseeing!  The hotel and food were voted 'excellent' by one and all. 

May 2009 (26th May for 7 nights) will see us in Rabac on the Istrian Peninsula, bookings have now been made for what should prove to be an enjoyable walking holiday. This is a fascinating area of Croatia with its beautiful coastal scenery along with its historical and cultural heritage and influences.

The provisional dates for our New York holiday are 26 October to 1st November 2009.  Detailed information has been sent to all those who have registered interest and bookings are now being made.
