The Dorset Ramblers is an independent club affiliated to the Ramblers Association.  For other RA groups in Dorset contact www.dorset-ramblers.co.uk

Our main purpose is to arrange a series of Sunday walks throughout the year in Dorset and neighbouring counties.

The walks are classified as "A" or "B" and operate on alternate Sundays.  "A" walks are about 10 miles and "B" walks about 6-7 miles.  In both cases, a pub lunch is usually arranged.  Visitors are welcome but no dogs please.
 

We are a small friendly club and always ready to welcome new members.  We normally have about 10-18 people on our Sunday rambles and a Social Programme that is well supported.

In addition, we usually arrange one group holiday abroad and at least one short break holiday in this country each year.

Our members receive a programme with details of walks and social activities three times per year (end of January, May and September).

AGM - our next AGM will be held on Saturday 17 October at 2pm at the Stratton Village Hall.  We again hope for a good turnout and we will enjoy a cup of tea afterwards.
