The Dorset Ramblers is an independent club affiliated to the Ramblers Association.  For other RA groups in Dorset contact www.dorset-ramblers.org.uk

Our main purpose is to arrange a series of Sunday walks throughout the year in Dorset and neighbouring counties.

The walks are classified as "A" or "B" and operate on alternate Sundays.  "A" walks are usually between 8 and 10 miles and "B" walks about 4-7 miles.  In both cases, a pub lunch is usually arranged.  Visitors are welcome but no dogs please.
 

We are a small friendly club and always ready to welcome new members.  We normally have about 10-18 people on our Sunday rambles and a Social Programme that is well supported.

In addition, we usually arrange one group holiday abroad and at least one short break holiday in this country each year.

Our members receive a programme with details of walks and social activities three times per year (end of January, May and September).

AGM - our next AGM will be held on Saturday 12 November 2011 at 2pm at the Frampton Village Hall.  We again hope for a good turnout and to enjoy a cup of tea afterwards.
